About Me.
-
I am a physician with an interest in Obesity Medicine. I have a passion for improving health with the ultimate intention to prevent disease. My goal is to teach others how to maintain and active and healthy lifestyle. I hope to converge a career built on reacting to acute illnesses with a career where I can instead prevent diseases with weight management and health-style changes.

I not only have a Medical Doctorate, but also a Master’s degree in Human and Applied Physiology, as well as, a undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. I have further training as an Emergency Medicine physician and now have supplemented my education with Obesity Medicine training through Courses at Columbia and Cornell. I will be sitting for the American Board of Obesity Medicine certification this year (2025). This education helps guide me when treating patients in all sectors and many circumstances.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my 3 crazy, active boys (7yo, 5 yo, 5yo), my fun loving, hard-working husband, my smart but dumb, lazy 10 yo lab. I enjoy quiet nights, reading, and traveling. My husband and I like to poke around antique shops and goodwill. But, mostly we love spending time at home and in our pool during the hot summers seeing our kids grow.
-
I am a Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Niece, Friend, a Human just trying to do the best I can and give what I can to others to help whom I can in the world.
